We are a highly specialised agency that has carefully grown through reputation. We like to be thorough and work closely with our clients.
In early 2006, the two joint heads of the company combined their skills in strategic and medical marketing and a sales and process engineering background to create The Alchemists.
With a background largely in medical and pharmaceutical marketing, our marketing partner has worked on business analysis, market research and brand positioning projects. He has worked within the exacting confines of pharmaceutical marketing for some of the worl'ds largest pharmacuetical companies.
Our process engineer partner has worked at designing and implementing core process and customer interaction systems for many of Melbourne's top companies. With a constant stream of project work from Telstra, BHP and other big players, he relishes the challenge of uncovering the opportunies that survey work uncovers.
As a consultant to our company, our third high profile member is a registered psychologist and has a customer relationship and marketing analyst background. This gives us a core understanding of statistics and psychological profiling.
Where does the name 'The Alchemists' come from?
An oft asked question, the name of our company originates from the psychiatrist Carl Jung's 1944 book 'Psychology and Alchemy'. In summary, The Alchemists was set up as an agency that looks to discover the true 'self' of a company. The alchemic view of the soul is directed toward discovering the seed of unity, and our interpretation of the seed of unity is to discover the truth about ourselves and our clients - when we can answer 'what' we understand the parameters surrounding 'why'.
