BRAIN FOOD: MATCHA BRAIN OCTANE
Sometimes my brain is overcome with the inevitable fog of living in the 21st century. A shroud of Instagram induced lassitude pours over my consciousness, deadlines saunter in and out of your awareness, sending waves of stress and disquiet amongst your body. Next thing, your adrenals are shot. Its bedlam up there. Memory loss abounds, sleep withers and your brain is no longer a well-oiled machine. Just like that I'm calling for a Brain Tonic to keep my firing on all literary cylinders, as well as keeping connected, collected and cognitively on fire.
Never one to shy away from ancient herbs, this predicament calls for my main wing-herbs to pull out all of the stops and enhance my cognitive ability. We all have our days.

MATCHA BRAIN OCTANE
Using my wonderful friends at Sun Potion's magic
400ml of boiling water
1 tablespoon of creamed coconut/coconut butter
5 drops of stevia
1/2 tsp of Rhodiola
1/2 tsp of Ceremonial Grade Matcha Green Tea
1/2 tsp of Reishi
1/2 tsp of Maca
1/2 tsp of Mucuna Pruriens
Blend all the above in your blender until you have a frothy, creamy top of magic, cosmic goodness. Drink and your brain will thank you.
RHODIOLA: Brain and anti-stress capacity is unrivalled. Rhodiola has been shown to reduce various stress-induced chemicals in the body to normal levels, and alleviate general and mental fatigue. This baby fights fatigue, combats stress, and antioxidant properties. It protects body and mind against oxygen deprivation, enhances overall immune function.
REISHI: This Queen Healer's adaptogenic properties supports our immune system and our longevity, it also fights stress like a good wingwoman.
