Always a lover of a potion, this pink magic I whipped up on a Spring day was like drinking kindness and all things good in the world. For just a moment it was like nothing was bad in the world, and I sat with the sounds of baby magpies and a fresh breeze.

Ashwagandha is a massive love of mine - I do love a good adaptogen or two. Ashwagandha is a vital herb in Ayurvedic methodology, and has a full spectrum of health properties. Known to tonify the immune system, create vigour and strength within the body, create harmony within the body and Spirit and assist with stress on a physical, mental and spiritual level.

I am a firm believer that food is conducive to our spiritual path - and so I choose to eat foods that support my progression and harmonise with my spirit. So ashwagandha is a perfect fit.

On the other hand, beets are one of my favourite vegetables -  they are special as hell. I crave them ALL that damn time and could eat them in some shape or form breakfast, lunch n' dinner. Beets ground you but they also are super duper liver and blood detoxifier, protect the nervous system and help treat anaemia. They're also pink, which is a bonus and played a huge part in the thought process for this one.

Enjoy. Take on some pink energy. Go.
